Our Accommodation

We stay in a variety of "establishments" - riads, kasbahs and villas,
all comfortable and clean, with friendly and efficient staff.
Rooms vary in size, style and atmosphere, reflecting and depending on the proprietor
and the cities, towns and villages we spend time in.
Here are my preferred and usual places I book....

Marrakech...

We stay in a small Riad; a traditional Moroccan house with rooms onto a central garden courtyard with a fountain and pool; located inside the walls of Marrakech's medina. It has a private hammam and evenings can be enjoyed on their roof terrace.
A quiet and tranquil place you'll appreciate after our stimulating days in vibrant Marrakech.

Draa Valley Oasis...

Our kasbah/hotel is built from mud, the traditional building material of Morocco.
Located in the palm gardens of the oasis known as the Sea of Palms.
Simple with traditional furnishings, a swimming pool and authentic Moroccan cuisine.
We experience the real Morocco here.

Taroudant...

Just one night here in this elegant riad in the medina. Its lush, green courtyard is very welcome after our day on the road.

or their sister villa - in the countryside outside Taroudant - depending on availability.

Dar Boutazert...
For 2 nights each person will have their own luxury villa on this private property.
Located in the countryside, a short drive south of Essaouira.
You'll enjoy delicious food prepared by their in-house chef, workshops and beach walks.
Surrounded and inspired by their elegant furnishings, antiques and art.

Essaouira...

You stay in a traditional house or dar on the edge of the walled medina.
The roof terrace breakfast spot offers panoramic views of the sea and surrounding town.
Here the salty air is filled with the cry of Atlantic gulls.
A comfortable place from which to explore the ancient seaport of Mogador.
