INK - Draw and Explore
Ink is one of the oldest mediums and its lasting appeal lies in its versatility.
It can be easily manipulated to express bold gestures or sensitive details and to create a vast range of evocative tonal values.
We will explore inks from different cultures and look a little at their history.
Examine and utilise a variety of the best tools - both traditional and contemporary - also creating some of our own.
Experiment with many grounds and surfaces and learn some techniques
that will inspire and ignite your drawing and painting practice.
Suitable for all levels, however, beginners will need to be brave.
