Over two days, learn the ancient craft of weaving; how to set up a simple loom and create a woven story to record a sense of place. We will work with found materials collected during our physical and sensory journey through our chosen landscape/environment. This workshop can be conducted in any sort of landscape - urban to wilderness and everything in between. Weaving is a contemplative and meditative process suitable for beginners and anyone who enjoys working with textures and colours. A simple and profound way of freshening and enlivening your present arts practise - whatever your discipline.
