These specifically designed creative sessions are unique to our journey together in Morocco.
They are suitable for all levels; absolute beginners to professional artists and everyone in between.
Simple materials and equipment are used, locally sourced where possible, supplemented by your
"Travelling Artist Kit" (my list of suggestions).
We create together in riad courtyards, on roof terraces, in kasbahs and palm gardens.
Also in Studio Creatrix - my studio/gallery/workshop in the medina of Essaouira.

The workshops are designed to deepen your travel experience:

  • to record your journey with clarity, using your own personal expression,
  • to question and explore,
  • be a comfortable environment to create in and to stop, be present and establish a sense of place,
  • allow time to hear your positive inner voice,
  • help to unpack and make sense of your experiences,
  • opportunities to create with new tools, materials and techniques,
  • offer a new lense for your art practice,
  • and of course, have fun, relax, laugh, unwind and absorb.

If you are travelling as a group of friends and acquaintances, we can incorporate as much or as little creative time as you like.
You may request specific learning – this can be arranged before your journey to ensure you have the necessary materials and supplies.
Please let me know any ideas/techniques/methods you would like to explore.
Our journey, along with workshops, can be developed around your particular interests – jewellery, costume and fashion, textiles, cuisine, architecture and interiors, music, dance & song etc.
I'm also able to arrange workshops with Moroccan artists who are willing and able to share their particular methods of practise.
